Carrying EDC involves eventual loss.  One day I brought my favorite olight (warrior mini titanium winter) on a walk with my dog. We ended up in a field. When I got home I realized I dropped my prized light. I tried to retrace my tracks but it was like finding a needle in the haystack. 6 months later, I find it in the dirt. Cleaned and charged it. Still works fine!
