Close call...
In November 2020 I was taken to the hospital with a major problem.
Despite being at the height of the Covid scare the Nurses and Doctors were amazing and saved my life quite literally. I cannot say enough about these amazing human beings. I was in the hospital for just shy of three months all through Christmas and my Birthday in January.
Despite the food, they took care of me and made it feel as close to home as possible. One Nurse even bought me a comforter out of her own money because the hospital sheets and blankets were constantly falling off and impossible for me to manage. When I had recovered enough to go home I asked my sister to bring me my box of Olight Flashlights on my last day. I had overheard a few of the nurses complaining about the cheap plastic hospital-provided flashlights not being bright enough or durable enough. I proceeded to hand out literally 3/4's of my collection to the fine Nurses and Doctors that saved me. The Doctors loved the Perun Mini and Perun 2 of course due to the headband. The Nurses were very pleased with I3's, I5's, and Batons of all descriptions. Needless to say, my collection is a fraction of what it was but it was just my small way to say Thank You to all of the Health Care Professionals that brought me back to the living. No regrets, I wish that I had more to give honestly. My apologies for the somber tone of my story but I couldn't think of a better story to share on Fan Day. I can certainly say there are about thirty Nurses and Doctors that have told me how fantastic their Olight flashlights are. When you are with a group of people for three months of adversity they become Family. Bless all Health Care
workers for their kindness and sacrifices.
