The chief of lights for a chief
I’ve been an Olight user for a couple years now. Originally introduced by some people in the edc community on Instagram. Originally bought some i3T lights for emergency kit and car. But over time I accumulated a decent collection of flashlights, and sphere bulbs. Mostly for emergency lights when power goes out, but I bought some bigger brighter lights recently like the Maurader mini, warrior 3S and baton pro. Little background in my line of work, I’m an elected First Nations chief and sometimes I get called out middle of the night to deal with many different emergencies. And these brighter lights I always reach for when I get those calls in middle of the night. The maurader mini is my favourite to grab because how bright it is and its reach, recently while called out to deal with some squatters, the bright light allowed us to see a cougar quite further up the trail. All around my house I have an Olight flashlight ready to go when power goes out, my hallway and rooms all have an Olight sphere ready to be used in event of power outage. I live in a rural town in the interior of BC Canada, so wildfires and extreme weather are always a threat to our area. So having good lights in the emergency kits are always needed. Plus I usually try keep an Olight in my photos for instagram posts.
