I discovered Olight flashlights in December 2023, when I was searching for a more compact and bright flashlight to carry with me. I purchased a 5-pack i3T 2 sale that Olight was having for the Christmas sale. This was my first purchase and thought I would keep one for me, one for my wife, and the rest to gift them to family. After my package arrived, I was extremely impressed with the quality and performance of these flashlights, especially using a 10440 batteries. The next day, I had to go to my work and I usually leave very early in the morning well before sunrise. My neighbourhood has lots of squirrels, skunks, racoons, and other creepy creatures. So I like to use a flashlight when going to my car. I get to my car, remotely unlock it, turn off the flashlight and opened the door, and like most cars, the interior lights of the car turn on at this moment. So when I opened the door, this massive moth, I'm talking the size of Pterodactylus, swarms inside my car towards the interior light and circling around it and just waiting for me to enter so it could devour me. At this point, I'm freaking the heck out and will absolutely not enter the car, and hoping no skunks around to drench me with their lovely perfume or some racoons to ambush me. I then remembered my i3T 2! I pull it out, turn it on and blast it on the high lumen setting at this Pterodactylus sized moth, and of course the i3T 2 is way brighter than my car's interior lighting, so the plus sized moth darts towards the light from the i3T 2 and I guide it outside my car, I turned the flashlight off and quickly entered my car and closed the door. The Olight i3T 2 literally saved my life. If I had entered the car before or stayed outside in the dark at 3am any longer, I wouldn't be here telling this story. Since that time, I have returned to Olight online store and purchased several more flashlights throughout up to today. From the Arkfeld pro, to the i3e to the Sphere to the Diffuse, and several more. All have been excellent quality and I feel much safer with an Olight in my pocket. That is my story, thank you for reading.
