I was looking for a small flashlight to put in my backpack for camping, and found a company called Olight in 2013.

I was impressed at the features and design of such a simple light, and when the time came to purchase a larger light; I picked up an S1R, and eventually an S1R II that I used for many years.

Since then I have picked up many other lights for specific use cases and as gifts.
 
The overall quality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service has set the brand apart in my eyes, and I continue to enjoy my lights.
