Illuminating Memories: My Olight Story
I’m Kyle M, a proud Olight enthusiast. My journey into the world of high-quality illumination began with the Arkfeld Pro (#My1stOlight), and let’s just say—it was love at first light! This sleek little powerhouse didn’t just meet my expectations—it blew them away. From that moment on, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve amassed a collection of Olights, even spreading the glow by gifting them to friends and family (who are now just as obsessed as I am). My most recent addition? The Sigurd foregrip/light combo, which, like every Olight before it, has exceeded expectations.
One of my most unforgettable Olight moments was being backer #1822 on the Ostation X. The second I saw it, I knew I needed to be a part of this project—it solved my never-ending battle with disposable batteries. Watching the Olight team bring their vision to life was an incredible experience. The community, the updates, the excitement of seeing prototypes evolve—it was like being behind the scenes of something truly special. Now, the Ostation X proudly sits in my home, a symbol of innovation and problem-solving at its finest.
But the best part of being an Olight fan? The surprises and pure joy it brings—whether it’s someone’s jaw dropping when I light up a pitch-black space with my Arkfeld Pro, or the excitement of gifting an Olight to someone and watching their instant conversion to the brand. My absolute favorite moment, though, is the magic my daughter sees in the Olight Sphere. To her, it’s not just a light—it’s a tiny glowing piece of wonder. And seeing that pure joy on her face? Well, that’s the kind of light that really matters.
